2010 Bay Thoroughbred Mare
Height: 16.1 H
Jane came to Dodon from a hunter background to work on her jumping... come to find out Jane wasn't enjoying the jumping because she wanted to be a dressage horse! She loves to go to work and do some very fancy flat work. She finds comfort in the aids. She's lovely in the bridle and is very accepting of the leg. She's started figuring out some lateral work, the counter canter, and has three very lovely gaits AND bonus: a pretty natural trot lengthening. Both my working student and I actually enjoy working on our dressage with her. I think she's easily got 2nd level potential and probably could do 3rd or more as she has a nice natural lead change.
She'd make a very nice lady's dressage horse. She's easy to work with on the ground and is good to take off the farm. She is good to hack out in company, and will probably be fine alone with some trail mileage - she needs some help in the courage department at times, she's not bad, just careful. Come scoop up this sweet and fun mare!
Jane's owners adore her and are also open to a full lease. Please contact us for more details!
