At Dodon farm horses are accepted for training by the month as space allows. We are able to work horses in the countryside as well as in our outdoor jumping arena, our indoor arena, and our cross-country schooling jumps. While many of our horses progress very quickly in their training, we believe that they can learn only when they are happy and relaxed in their work. All of our training reflects this philosophy.

Most riding is done by Steuart Pittman, himself. In cases where a horse is more suited to one of his assistants, Steuart supervises the training closely. Horses are ridden 5 times per week.

Owners are welcome to watch as much of their horse's training as they like and can substitue lessons for training sessions. Training is $1000 per month including stall board and turn-out.

NEW!
Free Jumping Sessions! Trailer to Dodon and let us school your horse through the jumping chute in our indoor arena. Read about how we do it in Steuart's paper, Teaching Horses to Jump. Just $45 per session, and most horses only need to do it once or twice for them and you to find out just how much talent they have!

Dodon Farm is not a boarding facility. Exceptions are made from time to time when a rider and horse are in need of regular instruction.
